The Willie Thorne Golf Classic 2007 was held on Thursday 7th
June at Stoneleigh Deer Park Golf Club with the prize giving dinner at Nailcote
Hall Hotel
This popular event this year, was sponsored by roofing company TCS-EU Ltd. There was a record 24 teams playing at this years event. Once again funds were raised for The Bob Champion Cancer Trust The winning team was entered by Bruce Thomas of rBT Communications of Kingswinford. They will hold the trophy for a year  Martin Shackle, Bob Champion, Willie Thorne and Geaorge Darling with the Willie Thorne Golf Classic Trophy   Comedian Mal Rich takes a ride around the course on the golf buggy provided by ACT Ltd Various auction items raising money for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust
