A special Cheltenham Gold Cup Day at Ricks Bar at Nailcote Hall Hotel
was held on Friday 16th March in support of The Bob Champion Cancer
Trust and sponsored by Tom Sheldon - Bookmakers.

During the luncheon a video introduction and welcome was played where
Bob Champion MBE thanked guests for their support of the day and gave a
brief overview of what The Bob Champion Cancer Trust had achieved in
research for Prostate Cancer. Bob finished his message with some very
useful racing tips for the day, including a spectacular 12/1 winner in
the last race aptly named “Pedrobob”! |

The days racing live from Cheltenham, was televised on four big screens
providing all the excitement of the day. A Sweepstake, Irish Bingo and
Charity Auction helped raise much-needed funds for The Trust |
